| 1500 Kimberly : Lowe Development |
Project Overview:
Lowe Development Group acquired the former Johnson Control battery manufacturing facility for redevelopment into a new state-of-the-art industrial business park. Lowe selected Voit Real Estate Services to assist not only in the brokerage services capacity, but in the design and development of the future park based upon their expertise on recent successful projects in Orange County.
The site consisted of environmental challenges, entitlement and rezoning for smaller business facilities.
Together, Voit and Lowe Development completed two different developments onto one site in order to capture customers in two size categories. The City of Fullerton benefited by adding 285,000 square feet of taxable producing business to its industrial base.
Challenge:
Convert the former Johnson Controls battery manufacturing facility, an antiqued 238,000 square foot facility, an environmentally contaminated site into a new state-of-the-art business park.
Result:
Lowe Development solicited Voit Real Estate Services for expertise and guidance to convert the above project into a successful redevelopment and business park. By close of escrow, over 50% of the project has been sold. |
