Project Overview:

Voit Real Estate Services was selected to represent Maersk in Southern California to review all real estate holdings / leases and to make recommendations for all aspects of their real estate requirements. Maersk, a Denmark-based Company is the world’s largest provider of warehouse logistics. The West Coast accounts for 45% of the Maersk business worldwide.

Challenge:

To manage all of Maersk’s Real Estate requirements in Southern California. Voit is acting as a consultant to both consolidate facilities and to relocate to more functional properties.

Result:

The Team reviewed more than a dozen Maersk accounts and made strategic recommen-dations for the consolidation of warehouses. Two leases were recently signed in 2008, one renewal and one consolidating operations. Transactions are on going.
